LEGALAS TRADING CORPORATION was established on December 2008 as a single proprietorship business and subsequently incorporated on February 2012. Trading began its operations with the importation of frozen fish and chicken from various sources from mainland China, Taiwan, Australia and Peru.

The Legalas Group History

Legalas traces its beginnings back to 1988 when Romeo “Romy” Lerit Sr., along with his associates, Salvador Guianan, Orlando Lambino and Concepcion Sasing banded together to establish Legalas Customs Brokerage Corporation. With their vast experience & expertise in customs brokerage & forwarding operations, the group was able to attract and build a loyal customer base.

In 1991, Romeo Lerit Sr. took over management of the company after his associates pursued further other personal and career interests. Unfazed by this turn of events, Romy carried on determinedly and held the company together with his small team. Under Romy’s leadership & enterprising spirit, the company grew in size and operations. Legalas expanded onto trucking & hauling, trading & distribution, printing and export businesses.

After more than 20 years in the business, Legalas Customs Brokerage Corp. has since stepped up to become Legalas International Freight Forwarding Corporation. It remains to date the core business of the Legalas group of companies.
